After all the trash talk this site has received from disgruntled individuals from a competing camp, I just wanted all the alumni to know what kind of experience my son is having at the new Horseshoe. He describes camp as having great "morals" and he really likes the attitude of the staff. How many campers express that kind of sentiment? He is ABSOLUTELY having the time of his life! The variety of activities available is far beyond what the orginal Camp Horseshoe was able to offer; the staff is mature and well trained; and the spirit is sometimes deafening! My son David described how dificult it is to get the camp quited down for meals because of all the cheers and enthusiasm.
Those of us who had experiences at the Camp on Little Horseshoe can take pride in what Jordan and Fran have created in Rhinelander. There is no question in my mind that it was the right place to send my son to camp.
To the Jordan, Fran and the staff of the new Shoe, I say WELL DONE!
