Any campers from the early to mid 80's in the Washington DC area? Wouldn't mind hearing from you.

Dear Andy,

I'm not in the Washington D.C. area but I'm new on the forum and saw your name right off the bat. Do you remember your old counselor? I'm still living in Northwestern Wisconsin in a small town called Luck. This is about 45 minutes south and west of Shell Lake. I'm married and have three kids. Actually, I married a lady who had previously been married and had two boys. I adopted the boys and Barb, my wife, and I had a daughter, Katelyn. My boys are now 16 and 20. Ben is my 16 year old. He is a sophomore and a good football player as well as student. Matt is my 20 year old and currently a sophomore at University of Minnesota at Duluth. I've been a physician assistant now for 20 years. I owned and operated my own medical clinic for 11 years from 1990-2002. I finally joined a local clinic as a "partner" in Jan02.

I'm currently home on medical leave as I had a quadricepts tendon repair/transfer of the Rt. knee on Halloween. I'm on limited weight bearing/wearing an immobilizer in full extension for the next month. Hence, I now have some time to play on the computer which I have never done in the past. Love to hear from you or any of my campers and ex-staff. I'm so happy to hear about Jordan Shiner's venture. Hope to hear from you soon! Jonn Dinnies

Dear Andy:

I think that I was your camp counselor your Woodsman Year. The other campers in the cabin going from the door, clockwise, were Andy Rittenberg, ____, you, _____Greenberg, Jon Moses, David Michel. Please correct me if my memory fades (it will happen to you someday). Hope all is well and wish you the best of luck.

Steven
