Last summer, when my daughter was born, my wife and I went looking for furniture.
I kid you not to say that "Room and Board" sells a shelf exactly like the ones we used to make in the Craft Shop. (I proudly ran that building in 1988).
There are two now hanging in my daughter's room. One is the three piece variety--two vertical boards, with one longer one running in between, and nice hooks to go in the wall.
The other is your basic four piece shelf-- four boards, equal size. I'm tempted to find a camp horseshoe wonderhook to finish the look.
The shelves cost a lot more than the pier fisher I made in the craft shop in 1978.
