I was a camper and counselor off and on from 1953-1964. I am blessed to say that my terrific son Tim also enjoyed CH for 5 years along with our daughter at BT for over 14 years( currently tripping counselor) and 5 post camps at CH. My wife Mary and I have been returning to camp for over 34 years - incredible. What brings me back? I have been fortunate to enjoy a friend's cabin on Big Horseshoe Lake which allows me to re-experience each summer the sights and sounds of the bull frogs at cookout beach, the sound of the clanking of the metal clamps against the flag pole, the sound of the main sail clamps of the "Flying Horseshoe" against the mast, the high pitched voice of Mrs H. calling after Doc H - Doc H , Doc H, Doc H. I wonder if Mary hears the same noises?????????
Another all camp reunion would be fantastic. Life without camp would leave a significant void in my heart and mind. By the way for those of you who may remember Bruce Preston Cohen ( same era as Bill Gould ( grumpy) is my brother in law and his 3 boys also went to Horseshoe.

Kappy, you turkey, of course the Schwabber lives. Write if you get an opportunity.
