Kappy,
Week 9 has continued on for me for the past 46 years or more for my family and me.I was a camper and counselor off and on from 1954 - 1965. I have a terrific son (27) Tim, whom you know, who was blessed to be a camper for 5+ years. In addition our daughter, Jo Jo, had gone to our old post camp with us for 5 years and has been at BT for 14 years as a camper and now a counselor ( tripping counselor). My soul mate and wife Mary has been returning to camp for the past 33 years and we have been fortunate enough to stay in a friend's cabin on Big Horseshoe. During these past 33 years I have been able to still listen to the rivet of the bull frogs on cookout beach, the sound of the metal clamp of the flag clanging against the metal flag pole in front of the mess, the metalic sound of the main sheet clamp of the "Flying Horseshoe" resounding through the camp and over the lake, and of course the sight and sound of Mrs. H. chasing and calling Doc H, Doc H, Doc H. I wonder if Mary hears the same sounds as vividly as I?????????
Kappy I am alive and well so be in touch with me. My bag is packed and I have my train ticket to go to Minong for the camp reunion when it happens. Bring it on.............
