This is off the subject of this thread but thats such a terrible image (the cabins being destroyed) that I cringe when I think of it. I'm sure it was done for profits sake, and I'm not sure of the details of the transaction, but just think what Birch Trail is charging these days for eight week tuition: $5525 per camper!!!! Thats a lot more than when I went 1982-1988. If you do the math it might've been better, and more profitable, to keep the camp running all these years rather then destroying it. However, as I said before, I'm not aware of the details.
