Thanks for your inquiry. Your memory is quite good. It was 1973(my Stude year and I think Merc and your first year as Camp Directors) when I suffered a renal contusion thanks to a good(and legal) hit by close friend Doug Betten. I spent 10 days in the hospital in Duluth but the kidney healed spontaneously and without sequelae. Interestingly, it was not this episode that got me interested in Urology. Rather it was Jimmy Mutchnik's father, an Urologist in Highland Park, who generously let me tag along with him in the OR one day when I was in College. The rest is history.
I've enjoyed reading your(and Barbie's) numerous postings. It sounds like you have carved out a nice life in the Pacific Northwest. Please do look me up if you make it to the Bay Area; it would be great to reminisce over old times. My e-mail address is: robgharris@hotmail.com
