 Dinner with Frank Demyan

The last time I saw Frank Demyan and Randy Held was the summer of 1978. Tonight the three of us enjoyed dinner together in Los Angeles. It seemed like yesterday that we were sitting together talking and eating pudding in counselors icebox.

Words can’t describe how much fun it was reminiscing about our camp days. Randy brought his old camp photo albums and it was frightening to see how young we all looked 30 years ago. The one constant was Frank. He hasn’t changed a bit!

I’ve posted two pictures from our dinner on the second page of the photo album gallery. Randy has Franks contact info. I’m sure he will post it.

GRAND MAL!!!!!!Glad to hear that you and Randy hooked up with Frankie D. I will shout from the highest mountaintop that those who never stuck around long enough to become Studes and Super Studes really cheated themselves out of the opportunity to get to know Frankie in a way that regular campers never did. What a treat it was.
It's getting to be the time of year again when my mother starts to write my name in all of my underwear and I begin to think of Camp. I tell her that she doesn't need to do that anymore....after all, my wife is willing to do it for me..(rim shot!) All the best. Big Mo

I second what Rob said about my Stude year with Frank.
It was really nice to see a current picture of Frank on the site.
Regards....Josh

Josh and I were the only two studes in 1988. What a special summer that was with Frank! That was my ninth year at Horeshoe. The pictures that Randy posted bring back a flood of memories. I know this has been said a thousand times, but our kids (even though I don't have any yet) are going to miss out on the best thing that ever happened to their dads.
