I assume you are speaking about the efforts of Jordan Shiner, who, until 2 years ago, was the director of Camp Kawaga. After leaving that position, I understood he was looking for a place to "re-start" Camp Horseshoe. To my knowledge, he hasn't been successful to date. Both of the camps mentioned, Kawaga and Agawak, asre fairly successful. Our family knows the ownership of both and I would be surprised if either was for sale, but you never you know.
Last year's rumor was Camp Timberlane, which is where my son goes. I've spoken with the owner about that rumor and it is not for sale at this time.
I hope Jordan is successful for many reasons. He runs a good camp and it would be great to see the camp make a comeback.
As for dealing with Josie, I am sure you can find some rather unflattering posts about her role in the camp's fate elsewhere in the forum as well.
