I recently heard a rumor that a person named Jordan Shiner from Highland Park, IL, who'd worked at Kawaga for some time, had purchased some property about an hour from Eagle River and was working on re-starting Camp Horseshoe, with the old traditions, etc. Anyone know anything about this? I'm not sure I recall a Horseshoe Jordan Shiner, but the last year we co-directed Horseshoe with the Mercers was 1974 (1972-74), after being a camper and counselor from 1954-68. Anyone know anything about this?
