 Walleye

Fishing Monday July 2nd, landed a nice 4lb. walleye in the main body of the lake just SE of the formerly known as Bruder/Redmer Home. Caught in about 16 ft. of water on a Rapala Husky Jerk. Any walleye here is a special suprise so we returned it to the lake as we usually do for the enjoyment of the next catch and release fisherperson. I was happy to have my daughter Heather and Son-In-Law Kekoa along to enjoy the moment. PS: My 53rd consecutive year at Horseshoe Lake.

Myself and my Mother,Burdel.were fishing around Redmers.100ft.from shore.
Useing a deep diver rattle trap lure.I landed a 3 pnd walleye.20 inches.
Not to bad, huh? That was on August 11th.About 2:00pm.
The night before,I was walking down to berchtree point with a black top water poper. And landed a 19 1/2 inch Bass.CPR.
The first night we were there,I walked down to our point with the same poper, and pulled out a small mouth bass. Can you believe it?I never remember catching a smally in the lake.

Very nice job on the web site Brent. It"s very nice.
I miss you all.

Love Mark
