The weather is starting to change here. Our weather is about 2 weeks later than normal and we've had a rainy September. The fishing is getting better, we are into our fall patterns. Walleyes are being caught on Lindy Rigs using crawlers and fatheads. Try walleye suckers on slip bobbers too. Trolling crankbaits over shallow flats and points is doing well.
Crappies are hitting in 12-18 feet of water on Flu Flu's, crawlers and crappie minnows. Big panfish are hitting in the same pattern.
Northerns are tearing up spinner and buzz baits. They are very active on all lakes.
On the Brule, the Coho Salmon are coming up and light spoons and spinners seem to be doing well.
