Due to the warm weather of late the snow is all but gone .Some water
on the ice but travel is better most lakes can be fished all over .Walleye and pike fishing continue to be good to excellent on area lakes while perch fishing remains spotty. Those catching walleyes are reporting good fishing in the Minong Flowage for larger fish. Salmo’s, sonars, or jigs such as buckshots, kastmasters, nils, raps, and rocker minnows tipped with minnows or minnow heads have all been working. In these areas, try rocky points or the edges of trees from 8-24 feet of water. Remember with the lack of snow and the melt of late the ice is slippery
stop at spotsmans for ice cleets !
