I was so glad to find this forum! I think about camp often, and this brings back some great memories.

I was in the cabin 14 that got the "Christmas presents" that Andrew referred to. Besides having to clean out the sand (which I think was a prerequisite for just about any cabin 14 prank), the dead animals made it all that much more joyful.

I only remember two other cabin 14 pranks clearly. One of them was "14 mile island". I think we painted the cabin green and basically filled it with junk to try and make it look like a nuclear waste dump. The other one, as I recall, was a year that there were only two or three guys in cabin 14. I believe that we put a fake wall in the cabin, to make it a more fitting size for the number of guys, and filled the back of the cabin with sand, fish, and whatever else we could find.
