Dear Jordan;

My name is Larry Lubliner and I attended camp from 1952-1959 plus or minus. I can't begin to tell you the number of times over the years that memories of my camping years come flooding back along with names like Jim Merrill, Doc and Gordy who taught me so much about the outdoors and fishing. Frankie who ran the "A" Field like the professional coach that he was and the myriad number of other campers and counselors who had a major impact on my young life.

What a disappointment it was to learn that Scott was closing the doors but what a glow I got reading your thread and learning that Camp Horseshoe was going to have a new beginning. I look forward to hearing progress reports and perhaps someday my grand children will attend. Something for your consideration after you get things up and running. A re-union after camp one year for those like myself who would like to wax nostalgic.
