Greetings everybody! Funny that you should mention me being clueless in the stern on that day J.B because as I was reading my bro's recollection of the trip and the various responses I was thinking "You know I think I was on that trip". And then I started to reach into the deep abyss that is my brain and remember hanging out in my tent soaking wet and freezing my ass off with somebody. For some reason your name was the one that surfaced. And then you confirm my memory by remebering our fiasco in the canoe. One thing though that I remember though was that I kept saying left, left, left and you kept putting our bow right, right, right into one of the many rocks. That was a Great Day!! Thanks for helping me to remember it. I also remember downing about a gallon of Dinty Moore that night. DELICIOUS!!

To get off the subject and recollect on one of my funniest episodes at Horsehoe I have to bring up the whole Chief Nam fiasco. In brief my memories include meeting "Chief Nam" at Scotty Morrison's (I think) and finding that he was absolutlely @!#$ faced drunk. I remember rowing him out to Flag Point(?) with John Wolk and Tommy David when Chief Nam stands up and says in a VERY loud voice "Hold the boat I gotta take a fuckin' pee". It took every ounce of energy not to completely lose it right there. Later that night I cried with laughter for about 2 hours. Let's see I also remember a young Dan Gould not knowing the difference between right and left and pulling the WRONG rope until Chief Nam was stuck in the middle of the lake. Lastly I remember Erin, I think, making up dialogue on the spot something to the effect of how great Chief Nam was and how everybody still wanted him to come etc. It was a classic night. I still laugh about it.
