Josh,
How the hell are you? It was great to hear from an old Stevenson alumn. What's new in the last sixteen years? To answer your question, camp looks completely different today, but in a few ways it is still the same. There are homes all around the Little Horseshoe. (Even a house in forbiden cove! Those poor people have no idea what's lurking in that cove!) The roads into and on the old property have completely changed. If my memory serve me correctly, they have built huge expensive homes at council Horseshoe, the tennis courts, the guest cabins, the mess hall, and one between cabins 13 and 14. It's broke my heart to see it. Plus, several more around the lake. The only satisfying part is that all the paths we remember are still there. You can get from the home on the tennis court to the home at cabin 13 along the same main path that went through camp. It's good to get up there. I recommend seeing it for yourself. The people along the lake are nice and love to hear about camp. Stay in touch.
