I do recall there was some reason the there were no trips on the Totogatek for several years until I was a Ranger about 1966-67 and we took a one day trip. The water was NOT low and in fact it was unbelievable. We "lost" one canoe, well actually it got lodged between two trees. When we pulled it "free," we discovered that the other end was still under water. There was about a 15" variance with the bow to one side and the stern to the other.
Anyone else have any memories of this trip.
